Cyclone Dust Collector

High-Efficiency Cyclonic Separation for Chips, Shavings, and Product Recovery

Cyclone dust collectors separate chips, shavings, and heavy particulate using centrifugal force — no filter media required. We supply AGET pull-through and push-through cyclones from 400 to 3,500+ CFM, two-stage systems with FILTERKOP after-filters for return air applications, and high-volume industrial cyclones for pre-cleaning up to 165,000+ CFM. Use as a standalone collector, a product recovery device, or a pre-cleaner to extend downstream filter life.

Optimized for Heavy Particulate, Pneumatic Conveying, and High Temperatures

Industrial Cyclone Dust Collectors — Centrifugal Separation for Chips, Shavings, and Heavy Particulate

Cyclone dust collectors separate heavy chips, shavings, and coarse particulate from the airstream using centrifugal force, no filter media required for primary separation. The cone-shaped housing spins incoming air at high velocity, forcing material out of the airstream and down into a collection container while cleaned air exits through the top outlet. Cyclones are the right choice when the dust load is too heavy for a filter-only system, when abrasive material would shorten filter life, or when you need to recover product rather than simply dispose of it. They’re also the standard first stage in two-stage systems. The cyclone handles the bulk of the material load while a downstream baghouse or cartridge collector captures the remaining fines. We distribute cyclone systems from AGET Manufacturing and SLY Inc, covering compact pull-through units with integral fans for single-machine applications through large industrial cyclones serving entire production facilities.
  • Airflow Range: 400 CFM to 165,000+ CFM
  • Separation Efficiency: 90–99% on particles above 10 microns
  • No Filter Media Required: Primary separation relies entirely on centrifugal force
  • Construction: Carbon steel standard; abrasion-resistant linings available for metalworking
  • Installation: Indoor or outdoor — weatherproofed housings standard on AGET SN series
  • Storage: 55-gallon drum, hopper, or bin arrangements

Cyclone Configurations We Supply

Configuration Airflow Manufacturer Ideal Applications
Pull-Through Cyclone Integral fan on clean-air side 400 – 3,500+ CFM AGET SN Series Woodworking, machining, grinding, buffing — single or multi-machine
Two-Stage: Cyclone + After-Filter Cyclone pre-separator + FILTERKOP baghouse 300 – 7,000 CFM AGET DUSTKOP SC Series Indoor shops requiring return air; mixed chip and fine dust loads; woodworking, plastics
Push-Through Cyclone Fan upstream of cyclone; belt drive 1,000 – 30,000+ CFM AGET NB/NS Series High-volume chip and shaving removal; sawmill, cabinet, furniture production
High-Efficiency Industrial Cyclone Large-diameter; multiple or single units 5,000 – 165,000+ CFM SLY Inc Heavy industrial pre-cleaning; pneumatic conveying; product recovery; pre-separator ahead of large baghouse

Cyclone vs. Filter Collector — Choosing the Right First Stage

Factor Cyclone Only Cyclone + After-Filter Filter Collector Only
Particle size captured 10+ microns reliably Sub-micron with after-filter Sub-micron
Heavy chip/shaving loads ✅ Handles without clogging ✅ Cyclone absorbs the load ❌ Will blind filters rapidly
Return air to building ❌ Not compliant alone ✅ After-filter enables recirculation ✅ With correct media
Abrasive materials ✅ No media to wear out ✅ Cyclone handles abrasion ⚠️ Abrasion shortens filter life
Maintenance Empty collection container — no filters Empty container + periodic filter reconditioning Regular filter cleaning/replacement
