AGET DUSTKOP & MISTKOP

AGET builds two distinct product lines, the DUSTKOP dust collectors and the MISTKOP mist collectors. Both manufactured in Adrian, Michigan using welded construction and built to run in real industrial conditions for decades.

DUSTKOP handles dry dust: wood, metal, foundry, and general manufacturing. Over 600 models from 1/3 HP to 75 HP, with a pull-through fan design that keeps abrasive dust away from the fan wheel and bolt-together cyclone sections that are field-replaceable without cutting or welding.

MISTKOP handles coolant mist and oil smoke from CNC machining, grinding, and metalworking. No rotating drum, no bearing failures, no expensive cartridge replacements. Mechanical impingement capture that runs with minimal maintenance.

Category AGET Advantage What Most Dust Collectors Do Why It Matters
Filtration & Air Quality
Shaker Cleaning Mechanical shaker baghouse requires zero compressed air, self-contained cleaning mechanism Pulse-jet collectors require a continuous supply of clean, dry compressed air at 90–100 PSI to clean filters Facilities without reliable compressed air, or those running lean air systems, eliminate pulse-jet dependency entirely. No solenoid valves, no diaphragms, no compressed air maintenance needed
Pull-Through Design Fan wheel positioned after the cyclone so that debris is separated before it ever reaches the fan wheel Push-through designs pull unfiltered air through the fan first, abrasive dust can erode fan wheel blades over time Fan wheel erosion is eliminated on abrasive dust applications; longer fan life, less vibration, no wheel replacement on grit, sand, or metallic dust streams
Construction & Durability
Bolt-Together Cyclone Bolt-together cyclone construction, individual sections are field-replaceable without cutting or welding Welded cyclone construction requires cutting out worn sections and re-welding in the field. Significant downtime and hot work permitting Abrasive dust wears cyclone inlets and cone sections predictably; bolt-together construction lets you replace only the worn section in hours rather than days
Mist Collection MISTKOP mechanical impingement mist collector, no rotating drum, no bearing failures, no expensive cartridge replacements Centrifugal drum mist collectors have rotating assemblies with bearings that fail; cartridge mist collectors require frequent media replacement CNC coolant mist is one of the most maintenance-intensive collection challenges; MISTKOP eliminates the two most common failure points, rotating bearings and disposable cartridges
Combined Collection NM/SNM Series handles chips and mist simultaneously in one unit, single connection point at the machine Separate chip conveyor and mist collector required two units, two maintenance schedules, two sets of replacement parts CNC machining centers produce chips and coolant mist together; a combined collector reduces floor space, installation cost, and ongoing maintenance to a single unit per machine
Product Range & Application Fit
Model Range 600+ models from 1/3 HP through 75 HP, FT Series 300–7,000 CFM, FH Series 1,500–30,000+ CFM Many manufacturers offer 20–50 standard models, unusual airflow or HP requirements push buyers to oversized or undersized units 600+ models means the right unit exists for your exact application without over-buying capacity or compromising on airflow
Downdraft Tables Custom integrated downdraft table and dust collector in one place, capture at the source for grinding, sanding, and light fabrication Separate downdraft tables and remote collector require additional ductwork runs and coordinated maintenance Source capture at the work surface is the most efficient collection method; integrated units eliminate duct losses and keep the collection point directly under the dust generation
Heritage & Support
Manufacturing Heritage 88+ years manufacturing in Adrian, Michigan American manufacturer since 1938 Many dust collector brands are imported or assembled from offshore components with limited domestic engineering support American-manufactured equipment with domestic engineering support means faster parts availability, direct factory technical support, and Buy American compliance for government and defense procurement
Parts Availability Full parts inventory maintained for current and legacy AGET equipment, parts available for units decades old Many manufacturers discontinue parts support after 7–10 years, forcing full unit replacement when a component fails Industrial equipment runs 50+ years in manufacturing facilities; parts availability for legacy units protects your capital investment and avoids forced replacement on a worn down part or worn bag

Frequently Asked Questions

AGET Manufacturing has designed and built industrial dust and mist collection systems in Adrian, Michigan since 1938 making them one of the longest-running dust collection manufacturers in the country and continues to be American made. Their two product lines are DUSTKOP dust collectors and MISTKOP mist collectors. AGET is a minority-owned American manufacturer.
AGET's DUSTKOP line includes cyclone dust collectors and baghouse dust collectors, along with rotary air locks and downdraft tables. Their MISTKOP line covers industrial mist collectors for machining, grinding, and metalworking environments where oil mist and coolant smoke are the primary contaminants.
DUSTKOP is AGET's proprietary line of industrial dust collectors. The systems use heavy-duty welded construction with spark-resistant aluminum alloy fan wheels on direct-drive units. AGET offers over 600 DUSTKOP models ranging from compact 1/3 HP shop units to 75 HP industrial systems. All are manufactured in the USA and backed by AGET's 3-year filter warranty.
The FT Series covers lower-volume applications from 300 to 7,000 CFM and is built around smaller shop and production environments. The FH Series handles higher-volume industrial applications from 1,500 to 30,000+ CFM and is designed for large production facilities, multiple machine connections, and centralized dust collection systems. Both series use the same pull-through fan design and bolt-together cyclone construction.
AGET offers a 3-year warranty with free filter replacement on DUSTKOP systems, a significant advantage over most competitors who provide far shorter filter coverage. The warranty reflects AGET's confidence in their filtration media and reduces the long-term operating cost of the system. This coverage requires a completed Application Review form at the time of purchase and verified routine maintenance. Contact us for full warranty terms and any exclusions.
AGET equipment is used in metalworking shops, fabrication plants, woodworking facilities, foundries, machining centers, and general manufacturing. Their MISTKOP line is particularly well suited to CNC machining environments where coolant mist and oil smoke require continuous capture at the source.
AGET DUSTKOP systems can be configured with spark-resistant aluminum alloy fan wheels, explosion-resistant housings, and compatible fire suppression components to meet NFPA 652, 654, and 660 requirements depending on the application. We assess each installation and recommend appropriate safety configurations based on your dust hazard analysis.
AGET DUSTKOP systems can be configured for combustible metal dust applications in compliance with NFPA 484. This includes spark-resistant aluminum alloy fan wheels, grounding provisions, and compatible explosion relief. Combustible metal dust requires a dust hazard analysis before equipment selection. Contact us with your process details and we will walk through the NFPA 484 requirements with you.
The DUSTKOP line includes over 600 collector models. This breadth allows us to match the right unit to your specific CFM requirements, dust type, and facility constraints without over-specifying the system. Very few manufacturers offer this range, which is why AGET has remained a trusted name in industrial dust collection for over 88 years.
Yes. AGET's cyclone-only configurations use centrifugal separation to drop heavy particulate into a collection drum without filter bags. These are used for heavy chip loads, coarse wood waste, and applications where bag blinding would be a constant maintenance problem. For finer dust, a baghouse section is added downstream of the cyclone. We size both configurations depending on your dust type and volume.
We're your Indiana AGET contact. From initial sizing through installation and parts for the life of the equipment. Call 317-910-1497 or use the form below.
Proper selection depends on your total airflow requirement in CFM, the type and volume of dust or mist being generated, available floor space, and applicable NFPA requirements. Contact us with details about your process and we will size the right system. We do not upsell you into a larger unit than your application requires.
AGET dust and mist collection equipment is used across a wide range of industries including woodworking and cabinet shops, metal fabrication, CNC machining, grinding and finishing operations, foundries, automotive manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, plastics and rubber, recycling and scrap processing, heavy equipment manufacturing, construction equipment manufacturing, and general industrial production. If you generate dust or mist and you are not sure which model fits, that is exactly what we are here to figure out with you.
